May 22nd, 2007 the Thai restaurant No Thai! finally opened, and students flocked to enjoy the Asian cuisine.

May 14th, 2007: Community High had a fire drill today. Population density on the staircases resembled that of a normal high school, if only for a few minutes. One student timed their exodus and said it took around 2:38:29 (in minutes) to exit the building.

May 3rd, 2007, The Thai restaurant “No Thai!” has been under construction for months. Now another sign of progress appears, forewarning the salivary glands of CHS students. The location on Catherine and Fourth Ave. will be the restaurant’s second, it replaces Pizzalato.

April 28th, 2007, Students begin to ride bikes to school and in typical CHS fashion, reduce their impact.

April 20th, 2007, the long-awaited debut of Community High’s pulp magazine, From the Pipe: Tales of Mild Interest, arrived today at lunchtime. Proud pulp magazine contributors (from left to right) Luis Leon, Tim Smedley, Galaan Dafa, Jack O’Connell, and Dylan Cinti show off their product and their revenue. At the time of these photos they sold around 50 of the twenty-four page booklets. They are selling them for $3.00.

February 21st, 2007, High school students crowd Huron hallways to audition for a casting call put out by 20th Century Fox’s movie “Jumper,” which contains many celebrities including Samuel L. Jackson, Diane Lane, and Hayden Christensen. The casting call was more publicized than expected. “We’ve had over 300 people come through here today. I thought it would be the drama club,” said talent agency worker Ann Wilson. The laptops of the workers burnt out after the first rush of applicants.

February 17th, 2007, third block FOS 1 students help clean the paper mache mess from table tops. The students are working on completing glacier models.

January 15th, 2007, an ice storm swept through Ann Arbor and left many without power. Trees fell on rooftops and cable wires, which caused much of the problems.

January 7th, registration was the last look at school students had before settling into 10 hour passed out time and a lot of recess.
Just remember that 7:00 is colder than you think.

December 12th, The Communicator Second Edition hits the stands. Subscribers, expect the paper to arrive soon!
Communicator staff have immediately gone back to work to make a third edition.
