No more, no more. Now I’m different; I’m not the same. I’m different from who I used to be. Different from who you think I am. I’m changing for the better; this girl is strong. And my hopes and dreams are going with me, somewhere you can’t reach.
I’ll be strong, this is my song. Not yours. I write my own story. See these hands? They’re gonna write their way to freedom. See this heart that beats so strong? It don’t care what you have to say. I am a fighter; a warrior. When fate knocks, I’m ready.

The Communicator is Community High School’s student-run print and online newspaper. Community High opened in Ann Arbor in 1972 and it is one of the original alternative high schools.
