Elena Flores, Community’s newest art teacher can usually be found somewhere on the first floor multitasking between art projects. She’s known for her unique personality and creative energy. The Communicator is Community High School’s student-run print and online newspaper. Community High opened in Ann Arbor in 1972 and it is one of the original alternative high schools.
